How exactly do you make websites?

We have 5 smart steps that we follow when developing a new website. First we will meet up with you and discuss your company and what you will be looking to achieve online. We will then get all required content and artwork together to get the project started. We can then progress and get a first draft together to show you a demo. Final changes will then be made to the site and finally the site can go live.

What if my website stops working?

We test all websites on the appropriate servers before we put a site live, so if a website is to stop working some how, it would most likely be an external fault (i.e. server upgrades, new browser compatibility etc). If it is in our reach, we will do our best to resolve the problem. If not, we will advise you on your options.

We will not put a website live until the client is 100% happy, however, when it comes to designing, it is very natural for a client to want to change things about as it is their company and obviously they know it best. Our development team will always take company branding into consideration and will always appreciate constructive criticism. Sometimes it is best to listen to the designers as we are professionals and like to think our creative license counts for something!

How long will it take to make my website?

If you are working towards a tight deadline and need the website within days, you have left it too long to look for a professional developer. Our timescales vary, according to the size of the project and workload. The market average for a mini-site (static informative website with minimal pages) is 2-3 weeks, whereas the average for larger database driven websites (content management, e-commerce) is 2-4 months. Like all great developers, we cannot guarantee a completion date but can only give you a rough scale (e.g. 3-4 weeks).
